Goalsly is a set of matchday football challenge cards designed for children aged 6–10 playing grassroots football. Each card gives your child 3 simple goals to focus on during the day’s games.
Most grassroots matchdays are two short games, one card covers the whole day, so kids stay focused without the pressure of starting over every half. Win or lose, there’s always something to aim for.
On the way to the game, your child picks a Goalsly challenge card and reads the three goals.
Skill, Mindset and Effort goals keep them focused and motivated across both halves.
After the matches, go through the card together and tick off the challenges they gave a go.
If they gave it their best, place a Goalsly reward sticker on the card. Collect all 30!

When will my pack arrive?
Goalsly packs are in stock now and ship with free UK delivery. It’s never too late to start. Your child can pick up the cards at any point in the season.
What if my child doesn’t complete all the goals?
That’s okay, we go again next matchday. Some games your child might complete all three challenges, sometimes just one, sometimes none at all. The point is to build confidence, not pressure. Every effort counts. The real win is having a go.
Do we have to follow the cards in order?
Nope! You can follow them in order like a season, or pick whichever card feels right that week. Some kids like structure, others like freedom. It’s up to you.
What if we miss a week because of a holiday or illness?
No problem, just pick up where you left off, or choose any challenge card when you’re back. Goalsly is flexible. There’s no “behind”, just progress.
What age is Goalsly for?
Goalsly is designed for grassroots footballers aged 6 to 10, typically in U7–U10 teams. A goalkeeper-specific version and a U11+ expansion are also in development.
Why 30 cards and not one per game?
Grassroots kids typically play two short games on a matchday, but squad rotations mean they might be on the bench for a whole half. One card covers the whole matchday, so kids stay focused without the pressure of starting over. That gives you 30 cards for the 30 matchdays in a typical grassroots season.
Is this for players or coaches?
Goalsly is designed for parents and kids to use together, but coaches love it too. It gives matchday purpose without adding pressure, and reinforces the messages many grassroots coaches are already teaching.
What if my child can’t read yet?
That’s okay, you can read the card together. In fact, many parents tell us this helps build confidence with reading and writing too, especially when kids are excited to earn their sticker.
